Dylan wanted to wear her mum wedding dress from the 1960’s as the top dress was a beautiful embroidered corset lace which she wanted to wear with a green skirt.
For her wedding party she wanted to wear her grand-mother wedding dress in night blue silk velvet from the 1940’s. Which I transformed to a cocktail dress she could wear again and again.
Kristina’s bought this 1940’s wedding dress made in light ivory silk.
The transformation to a more modern wedding dress was remarkable.
To transform Brenna’s grand-mother Prom’s dress from the 1950’s to a modern wedding ddress was a real challenge: keeping the best feathures of the existing dress and to highlight in the same time the tiny waist of Brenna. The Cat woman chest line ads a real modernity to this somptuous dress.
Kyrstie wanted to wear her mother’s wedding dress from the 1980’s for her Prom’s. I transformed this very big dress to a fitted gown for her Prom’s. The first photo shows the initial design of the dress.
